This policy explains what happens to data when you play Arrow Words Puzzle (the “app”). The short version: we do not ask you to create an account, we do not know your name, and we never sell your data. The app does show ads, and ad networks collect the technical data described below.
The app is published by Oleg Gravit (“we”, “us”), an independent developer. Contact: support@gravit.tech.
The free version of the app shows ads supplied by Google AdMob: a full-screen ad after a puzzle is completed, and an optional rewarded video you may choose to watch in exchange for a hint. To serve and measure those ads, Google may collect device identifiers (including the Identifier for Advertisers), approximate location derived from IP address, device and OS information, and ad interaction data.
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is used in aggregate — for example how many players finish a puzzle, which packs are popular, and where people get stuck. Events are pseudonymous: they are tied to an app instance identifier, not to your name, email, or Apple ID. We do not use analytics data to identify individual players. See Firebase privacy information.
If you sign in to Apple Game Center, your scores are submitted to leaderboards under the nickname you chose in Game Center. That feature is operated by Apple; we receive only leaderboard positions and never your Apple ID. Game Center is optional — the game is fully playable without it.
The app can send you an optional local reminder about the daily puzzle. These notifications are scheduled on your device only; nothing is sent to a server, and you can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings.
| Data | Purpose | Collected by |
|---|---|---|
| Device / advertising identifiers | Serving and measuring ads | Google AdMob |
| Ad interaction data | Ad delivery and fraud prevention | Google AdMob |
| App usage events (pseudonymous) | Product analytics | Firebase Analytics |
| Crash and performance data | Fixing bugs | Apple, Firebase |
| Game progress | Saving your game | Your device / your iCloud |
The app is rated 4+ and contains no user-generated content, chat, or purchases of consumable items. Ad content is restricted to the “G” rating in AdMob. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and similar laws), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data relating to you, and you may object to personalised advertising. Because we operate no server and hold no account data, most requests are resolved either in the app itself (reset progress, change tracking permission) or directly with Google. Write to support@gravit.tech and we will help.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Material changes will also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
